Awe Sum Organics is looking forward to another substantial season long program of imported organic apples from New Zealand, Chile and Argentina and organic pears from Argentina.

Awe Sum continues to import by far the largest volume of organic apples to North America from the southern hemisphere, representing the largest organic apple shippers in both New Zealand and Chile. Providing a continuous supply throughout the entire import season, Awe Sum also offers the most comprehensive varietal selection for retailers in various tray pack sizes and in 12/3lb bags. They deal direct with retail chains and distributors, and offer season long programs for customers who want to plan and commit.

Most of our regular vegetable lines are available and good with the following of note:

All Cucumbers are scarce and more expensive this week. Most other vegetable and herb lines are at reasonable prices.

The best value vegies are:

Brushed Potatoes (still dirty) or Chats (small white) All Pumpkin Cauliflower and Zucchini Brussels Sprouts Baby Bok Choy Silverbeet Spinach Leeks Avocadoes Green Capsicum Hydro Lettuces and Salad Mixes

In Fruit,

All apples are now new season fruit with Pink Lady, Gala,Fuji, Red Delicious and Granny Smith available this week. Keep apples covered in the fridge to keep them crisp. New season Packham and Beurre Bosc Pears are available and very good. Nashi Pears are also now available. Australian Navel Oranges have started and are really nice. We will also continue with Valencia Oranges for now as they are better for juicing. Lemons and Limes are also good. Mandarins are excellent and good value. Bananas are very good...
