RED CROSS FUNDRAISER: Bristol, Va., 14298 Lee Highway, American Red Cross, Mountain Empire Chapter, March 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. fifth annual chili lunch includes cup of homemade chili, cornbread, crackers and cookie, $5. LIBRARY FUNDRAISER: Abingdon, Va., Glenrochie Country Club, March 24, 6-9 p.m. Tickets for A Tisket, A Tasket, A Literary Basket event. There will be a silent auction, a live auction and a buffet of light dinner foods, drinks, coffee and dessert. The event is a fundraiser for the Washington County Public Library System in Abingdon, Va. Each basket contains a book and complementary materlals. Basket themes include a wide array of diverse subjects. Advance tickets, available at any branch library, $25 per person includes two drink tickets. Tickets at door $30. The students at the William N. Neff Center built a playhouse and donated to the event.
