McHenry & Woodstock Recreation Departments Offering Chicago Flower & Garden ...
The McHenry Parks & Recreation Department and the Woodstock Recreation Department are jointly hosting a trip to the Chicago Flower & Garden Show at Navy Pier on Thursday, March 15. The trip will depart from Woodstock Recreation Center, 820 Lake Avenue, Woodstock at 7:30 am and from McHenry Municipal Center, 333 S. Green Street, McHenry at 8:00 am. The trip will return to McHenry at 5:00 pm and to Woodstock at 5:30 pm.Participants can “think spring” and purchase or window-shop specialty seeds, bulbs, plants, pots, lawn ornaments and more, or join one of the many workshops or demonstrations for gardening ideas. Fee includes ticket and transportation only, lunch is not provided.
Registration is required for this trip. The fee is $35/person. Registration will be accepted online, in person, by mail, or by fax at the McHenry Parks & Recreation Department office, 333 S.
