IMAGINE the cool breeze of this mountain resort city blowing through bamboo wedges, with the sticks hitting each other.
The melodious tone of the bamboo swaying with the cool mountain breeze like natural chimes will instantly lull you to sleep or better yet transport you to a Zen-like state relaxing your entire body.

But aside from the natural charm of the bamboos in Asian-themed gardens paired with minimalist water fountains, the plant that comes from a family of grasses has both benefits to humans and the environment.
Now, you’re probably wracking your brains on what would be these benefits.
Philippine Bamboo Foundation Inc. President Edgar Manda said bamboos are known carbon sequesters that suck in pollution in the air and turn them into the oxygen that we breathe.
For every hectare planted with bamboo, Manda explains it can sequester around 12 tons of carbon dioxide each year.
